Brown spots, age spots, hyperpigmentation, melasma call it what you will. This time of year, we notice the damage the sun has caused to our skin, particularly to our face. Treatment can be most difficult and requires a great deal of patience and commitment.
Certain types of skin are not only more prone to hyperpigment, but may well be at risk for skin cancers. Tyrosinase, the precursor of melanine, is stimulated by the sun and the environment causing the skin to have either brown spots or uneven skin tones.
It is therefore important to receive a combination skin treatment, one that will gently slough off the keratin (dead) layer of epidermal skin, transport an effective lightening agent deeply to inhibit the Tyrosinase, and most importantly, stimulate collagen formation in the papillary dermis.
